Tess’s aunts claim that they committed a murder and it’s now being investigated.
Then there is the fact that her life is now being threatened, and Marcus springs a surprise meeting on her!

Back in Hollow Cove, and picking up where the previous book left off, we find Tess trying to help her aunts. When her life is threatened, she has to choose between them and herself, and typically she puts everyone else first.
There are some hitches in her relationship with Marcus, some interesting interaction with the familiar Hildo, and a run in with an old enemy, who has some grudges.
Tess’s impulsive ways have a habit of landing her in trouble, and there are more than a few times when I wanted to strangle her for her stupid decision making. Fortunately, she cleared a lot of it up by the end, leaving us with just a couple of rather intriguing questions!

Another enjoyable trip to Hollow Cove, in this enchanting cosy paranormal mystery series.

Great stories but seriously, the character is supposed to be 30 and throws temper tantrums like a child and leaps to very annoying assumptions. Its getting increasingly irritating to read another temper tantrum and another stupid assumption. Write her as an adult as she's supposed to be at 30
