Episode one was very good! It's great to see this new twist on the ever entertaining British Murder Mystery history of shows. One question: Where is the rest of the season? Very, very infuriating when a season is already made but only released one episode at a time on a pay for channel. Please release the rest of the season.

Darn! Why do they cancel really good series and leave the same old worn out stab em and slab em junk??? I really enjoyed the humor and dialog (i've watched enough Acorn and Britbox and British series to pretty much understand the humor and dialog). The writing is great and the acting and actors are believable (not the "beautiful people " but real people). Wish there was more - I'm a fan after one episode. Well done, Rob Lowe, Good on you. Wish they had renewed the series. Would have really looked forward to it.

Usually I get a little annoyed when Brits do Americans on their TV shows - often the accents are awful and the dislike and mockery toward all Americans is marked, which may amuse Brits but doesn't amuse me. This show is an exception. Rob Lowe plays a widower with a young daughter who is sent to the UK under some sort of exchange program to head up a local police department. It is in part a fish out of water story, part a father/daughter story and part a crime procedural. It held my interest to the end and I wish there had been at least a second series.

I was never a fan of Rob Lowe when he was younger. But he is more mature now and the fact that he is a really fine actor is what you see not just a pretty face. This story has real potential. There are a lot of subplots going on, the main one is an American that is a sore thumb in the British police force. A police force where moral is low and crime high. I really hope this series catches on as it will be a good one to binge on. Can not wait for the next episode.

First of all, great writing. It's not a comedy, but the humor and sarcasm is placed as it bubbles up in everyday life. So far (2 episodes) the characters have interesting stories, they're well-developed leaving plenty of room for things to happen as the series progresses. Very interesting location (i'm in Southern California) which looks familiar to me, though I've never been to the UK. I left the cast for last. Rob Lowe is a great fit to this character -Bill. Having done a little reading on Boston, UK, discovering what was even more accurate. Bill's right-hand is a fuller figured woman, written with a keen sense of instinct, and intelligence, having read, folks in this area tend to be a little fuller in stature. I love this series! My only problem with it is, I am required to wait for the following episodes. I've become used to binging. So, can't wait for episode 3! (4, 5, 6 ...).

I was waiting for the second episode before committing myself to comment on it. I have seen some negative comments on Facebook but they seem to be coming from pseudo intellectuals that believe anything coming from the UK must be serious high brow drama. The characters are great and well written. There are humorous pokes at both the Brits and the Americans but not so much as to be derogatory to either. The mysteries have been well executed and in depth enough to keep you guessing. It is being said that this show was canceled after the first season. I sincerely hope that they rethink this move because there are many shows on BritBox that are not nearly as good.
