This film was one of the most juvenile, badly written scripts I have seen. The main character, Karyn, played.by Mary Jane Morris, is an egotistical brat. She does not think she needs to follow rules, forgets to call her partner, and kills serial rapists. It is questionable to me how this film was ever made.

Karyn is a homicide Detective with the Boston police. A new case involves a body that looks like the work of the infamous Hades serial killer. Karyn and her partner and ex fiancée.get the case. Yes, you have it right, her ex-fiancée. Hades has a special interest in Karyn, and calls her disguising his voice. We go into Karyn’s childhood traumas that she must face in order for her, alone, once again to catch this killer.

No Boston accents, poorly written script, passing acting, but nothing to write home to mom to keep this script alive. I had to fast forward in some instances, so not much to recommend.

...that you're not going to make to the end of the film. This video is a hopeless pastiche of poor writing, inept acting and thoughtless direction. The female lead's only asset is her ever present dental work - she bizarrely shows off her pearly whites when she smiles, grimaces, when pausing to think, when walking into a dangerous situations. I suspect she must feel immense gratitude to her orthodontist.

Now that's a policewoman

I like that this is 16:9 video and 5.1 audio. This is a very good police movie. The leading character is so real she made me at ease. I like the action and violence; it is fine that it is moderate and not overindulgent. I have become very good at navigating to movies like the ones that I have already viewed. Amazon Prime Video AI keeps a running list of what I would like so I don't have to rely on the weekly recommendations. But the email has directed me to shows that I would like also. I started off paying $99 per year and now I pay $119. It is almost what it is worth: priceless. Thanks.

COMPLETELY unrealistic!

If it was a *MALE* cop, who'd shot & killed 3 people, he'd have 2 give up his badge & his gun [why is it she has a gun but NO BADGE?!? Or is she really a killer & not a cop?!?] & go on leave while everything was reviewed---maybe worse;
Why should----or would---a FEMALE cop get special treatment?!?
Cop shootings R a big deal--(you're taking a LIFE)----most movies get this right----but not this one, here it doesn't matter;
Script is poorly written too.

Much Better Than Expected

I was surprised by how many negative reviews were posted. I really enjoyed watching this movie. Unfortunately, I was unable to correctly guess the identify of the killer until the denouement. Who I deemed the serial killer was actually an innocent person. The twists and turns held my attention and the overall acting abilities of the characters was acceptable. I hope that sequels will be considered in the future.

Could have been the Lifetime Movie of the week

The show started out pretty well. Unfortunately, I was able to predict the bad guy after about 20 minutes.

Not a bad show, just not superb. I would go with Endeavour or even Midsommer Murders or any number of other shows. The premise was good and the story was pretty good too. It needed more time to develop the character backgrounds a little more. However, that was part of the mystery I suppose.

Decent movie even though the writer's sucked

It was a decent movie even though I had already guessed who the killer was within the first 10 minutes. Unfortunately the writer's of this movie made it to easy. I would have given it more stars because all in all it was a decent movie and the acting was good. They just waited to long into the movie to suspect it might be someone else. And another bad thing about the story is it's rare for one detective to come up against a serial killer and this detective has taken down three of them? C'mon really!! The movie should have been called the serial killer tracker or something like that.

Actually, I thought this movie was pretty good as casual entertainment. It spreads suspicions around different characters and has a happy ending after all.
