I've actually read the other books already, but know that you will love this quick and entertaining read that introduces you to the fabulous characters and their world. Such a wonderful story, you can put yourself right into it, and certainly a great prep for the rest of the series. So, no spoilers, this is all you get, however, my final word is ONE-CLICK! Get this now, you'll be so glad you started this hard to find a stopping place book and subsequently the series.

Our heroine has been living the carefree life, but when she becomes the target of a killer, it might be time for a new approach.

This is a prequel to an urban fantasy story with a witch as our heroine. The story is very well written and fun to read, with lots of action packed into this prequel. As a prequel, we get introduced to our heroine and a bit of her world. Both are well done and quite intriguing, definitely inviting me to read more. I admit that I am ready for that.

I quite enjoyed Winds of Change. I would categorize this short novel as a YA paranormal romance with a good dose of mystery and comedy thrown in. Winds of Change is the prequel to a new series called Delphine Rising.

The book follows the main character, Abby, and her relationship with her best friend, Danielle, and major heartthrob, Danny. These three kick a lot of rogue vampire butt and form a close knit friendship. When a jealous coven member starts to stalk Abby and Danny, they decide to take matters into their own hands.

Beware if you do not like insta-love stories. Abby and Danny fall fast and hard. I wish there had been a build up before they get together. Also time flies by quickly and while that was okay, I felt that time could have been used to build more character development or world exploration. Personally, I hope that this is not the last time we get to read about Danny. I really would like to see them back together. Overall, I did enjoy the unique story and will continue the series.

Abby and Danielle are best friends who like to hang and party together. They were a blast together in this story and made me laugh out loud, especially when Danny enters the picture. This prequel was a blast to read and serves as a great introduction to these characters. Now I need to read the rest of the series to see what happens next especially how the story ended. Need to see how crazy Abby ends up being.

This was the first book I've read by Angela Sanders, but it won't be the last. I love how the author brought the characters to life. She set up the world they live in brilliantly without overloading me with too much information at once. I loved the connection between the two main characters and how they instantly bonded together. This book brought out all of the feels, especially toward the end! Highly recommend to anyone who likes paranormal romance, insta-love, best friends, witches, vampires, and good writing!

I can completely identify with Abby and her best friend Danielle. They remind me so much of my childhood best friend and myself! Toss in one hot young man and holy cow! (Waves hand in front of face)
Abby is a young witch in New Orleans with everything she could ever want until the day that she realizes things are not what she thought and there is a darkness coming. I won't give spoilers, but I will say this.
The characters are well-developed, best friends that will not only have you feel like one of the gang, but make you fall for them too. The love, fear, anticipation and even the sadness in this unbelievably well written debut story will rope you in and make you desperate to know what happens next. Bravo, Mrs. Sanders.
