Well done biography of Winston Churchill
Myself and a few others had watched the film Darkest Hour and felt the need for more on the man. So I signed up for BBC Select in order to watch this very comprehensive 4 part biography. I must say that more than anything I was impressed by the sheer volume of living this man achieved! The sheer magnitude and "gumption" he had to uphold the British People during a pivotal time period of history where our world would be so incredibly different if he had not stood up to the bullies and maintained his ground. This biography is a fantastic voluminous epitaph on the man and his life. Now to find one about his wife who stood silently by his side the whole way... ??

excellent bio of a great man
This is one of the better bios of Churchill, focusing on the man more than his actions. Great collection of film here, too.
Sadly, he is probably spinning in his grave at the fall of London to foreigners.
