Some Flaws, But Great For Casual Use

I took this down a star because (1) some of my keys are a bit stiff on the keyboard, which causes obvious disruptions in typing; (2) some keys make light metallic sounds when pressed (so, looser than regular keys, it feels like) and it makes it sound like the key is going to pop off or lose the suspension in the internal piece (basically losing click-ability); and (3) the big open section of the bottom of the mouse (where the USB can be stored when not in use) scrapes along my mousepad? and the area is now fraying on the mousepad.

All in all, these are my only complaints thus far. The keyboard is a softer touch, so definitely not as loud. The mouse click is also really quiet, which is what I was looking for to begin with. The backlight on the keyboard and mouse are nice. They go to sleep within a reasonable time and wake up with a click. I haven't charged them yet and they've both been in consistent use since they arrived (about 3 days at this point). They connected very easily and setup was nothing. For reference, I've connected the keyboard and mouse via adapter to my MacBook Pro.

I don't often purchase items with so few ratings, but I am genuinely okay with this product. It does what I need it to; however, the price doesn't sit right with me due to the aforementioned issues.

The combo is nice and pretty comfortable to use. I set it up and I already like it a lot. The mouse and keyboard is rechargeable instead of using batteries and that’s a pretty cool touch. Originally my parcel was scanned or lost before delivery, so I didn’t get it. Contacted them and within seconds they had another headed my way and it came quick. A1 customer service!

I got this for work a few months ago and it's been working great the entire time. I've only charged my keyboard once since the initial charge and the mouse twice. The keyboard has a calculator button! They fall asleep in a reasonable amount of time and the keyboard wakes at the first keystroke and the mouse does need a click to wake but that's fine. Charging does take a few hours but it last a long time once fully charged the keyboard light doesn't change but the mouse lights change while using it. The usb connector is magnetic so it can be kept in the mouse while traveling or not in use which is convenient, I don't like ones where you might break a nail trying to get the connector out, not everyone has long nails either.

It worked well for a while, maybe a couple of months. Then suddenly, keys wouldn't type when I touched them, and I had to hit them several times to get through a message. The mouse also started being weird, going round and round the point I was trying to get to, without letting me get to the point I wanted for several seconds. I thought it was my computer, but I plugged in the old mouse, and it worked. Too bad. I like having back-lit keys and having wireless, but I can't use them anymore.

I am writing this from viewpoint of someone who uses a computer for work 40/hrs per week. I love the backlit keyboard because I can easily see keys even in a darkened room. I also like that these are wireless and both keyboard and mouse stay charged for quite awhile. The keyboard is nice. The mouse, however, is crap. If you use a mouse a lot you will hate this one as it's not very responsive and is all over the place. I will be looking for another set with a better mouse.

If you just need a backlit keyboard serves its purpose

It would have been great if the keyboard could have been changing color just like the mouse. It's still lit no movement. One problem I ran into is that there is a product defect on the (F) key. Now and then goes crazy by itself, it inputs the fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff just like this. and sometimes I cannot stop, I either have to tap the key or pull it in order to stop it. If it keeps doing it, I may have to trough in trash and buy a new one form another seller. The seller may say oh well you must have drop liquid on it. But nope! I don't have liquids near or on my computer desk for same reason! It is a recent purchase not long ago when I bought these.

Stops working after 14-28 days

At the one-month mark, literally the day of, my keyboard died. I don't mean needed to be recharged; I mean stopped working entirely. The mouse still worked.

Okay, could be a fluke, got a new one (and unfortunately ran out of time before the "courtesy" exchange window closed because I was expected to package it and bring it to UPS rather than do a pickup, so I ended up having to pay). About two weeks later, the same thing happened, but this time with the mouse. The new set is currently on my porch waiting for UPS pickup, thank goodness, but still out the $ for products that just don't work.

If it had just been one broken item, this would be a positive review because things do happen from time to time. I like the lights on it and the only "problem" would have been that the keys squeak. But, I can't give it more than one star when TWO faulty products arrived.

UPDATE

I did the return of the one I could (I missed the window for the other one). The remaining pieces have now died as well. Do not buy!
