5.0 out of 5 stars Quirky, Fun, and Well-Written
Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2022
Fun, easy read. Nice slow burn. The author has great control over language: her use of double entendres, addition of literary easter-eggs, and strong sense of self-awareness made this book very enjoyable and absolutely laugh-out-loud funny.

*Spoilers Ahead*
I wish the characters that share a romance would have spent some more time together--I love the world Ms. Holton built and the rules of the world are important to understand, but I can't help but want to see more of how the characters fall for each other. Call me a sucker for romance. And for Ned...

Anyway, I've recommended this book to almost everyone I know. And they all respond the same way: "Magic-wielding pirate women who fly houses? I'm in!"
