There were so many mistakes in this film I was appalled. My name was Clara Dandy when we lived in what has become known as the Hinsdale House. First of all--please be advised that, no matter what you may hear, the Warrens were NEVER in that house. They wouldn't come unless their visit was going to be televised. I never heard of bodies buried in the cellar!!!! There were psychics who said that bodies were stored in the crawl space but never the cellar (it doesn't deserve the name "balfsement". Never heard of a white dog haunting the place. Both Alex Tanous and Father Al Trabold investigated the house over a very long period of time--not just a day. BOTH agreed there was no demonic activity and no demon in the house. Where did they get their info? A witch? Who says? I loved that house & would still be there if Father hadn't told us to leave. I still miss it but am not "attached" to it in any way. I do know it's easy to scare yourself in the house. It's completely dark outside. If someone says "I hear something" everyone freezes & is sure they have hear something to. Easy to spook yourself there. There has yet to be a documentary that I found credible. They all film their own takes on things. So sad & a waste of time.

We spent a good 45 minutes listening to this Brother and Sister team praddle on about their supposed feelings about this house . Good God , don't waste that time . Find something to clean , listen to NPR . Believe me , you'll be doing something that is way more interesting then what we did , in watching what we could of this nonsense . By the way , Your coat , that you said was chinchilla , would piss off any native spirits , if there were any . They did not waste a thing for adornment . If they could not use their hunt fully , they left it in peace . How those Chinchillas Taste ?

I've spent the night at this house on three separate occasions and I have to say that while we didn't come out with a great deal of what I would call evidence I still believe it to be a bad place both in the house and on the property. In fact there are several members of my team would never return under any circumstances.
Having said that, these two individuals really ruined this film. As an experienced investigator I understand you often come away with nothing but feelings toward a location, but these two went on and on yet never provided anything of any substance whatsoever. Very, very disappointing.
If you're truly interested in this house, you need to read The Hinsdale House, An American Haunting by Dan Klaes (who currently owns the house). It provides FAR more insight into the dark past of this location.

This brother & sister team seem like nice enough people and that might be part of the problem - just a small part. The biggest issue is they're not equipped to do what they set out to do.Grace is clairvoyant but afraid and freaks out when she gets locked in the bathroom and the lights go out. So her brother steps up to set the dark forces straight. So he's the guy we're counting on to lead us into the abyss right? Only problem is, 30 minutes in, when he feels a touch on his ankle, he runs out of the room! I guess there some comedic potential here but to me it was a waste of the 40 minutes it took me to realize this was going nowhere

I'd rather have teeth extracted with light novocaine, then watch any future 'investigations' involving these siblings. They brought ONE camera which frequently gets shut off, (coincidently during key active moments) ONE k2 meter, and ONE voice recorder.... that's it. They really just spend the whole time talking about other people's experiences in the house. They claim there a safe spot in the house bc that's where the exorcism was performed. The camera guy even brings up the fact that it was 'unsuccessful' and the siblings trip over their words as to why it's still safe... Just do not waste your time... Watch The Blackwell Ghost series instead.... for real.

Ugh, I hate that I had to give this “investigation” any stars. As others have said, this was over an hour of the brother and sister unpacking their vaguely icky feelings. I kept fast-forwarding in hopes of catching a glimpse of some evidence other than people ponderously waving an EMF detector across wallpaper. So irritating that I paid $1.99 to watch people walk around and talk about how scared they are.

These two are likable, but seem better suited to a different hobby. I often wonder why people who are easily frightened or super worried about being attacked by negative entities investigate hauntings. These two drove hours and presumably paid money to investigate a place that, in the end, they were too scared to get investigate. The bulk of the movie is them talking about how scared they are. The movie has 10 times more talking about how scared they are than any activity. The two claim the house is the "holy Grail" of activity, then they are done investigating and back in their hotel room by 1:26am doing interviews about how scary it was. That says it all about this movie. I wish them luck but hope they consider doing something else that is safe and doesn't involve danger.

Good God they just kept talking about their damn feelings. The girl was a giant weenie and so was her brother. I'd rather watch paint dry. My boyfriend and I love paranormal investigator shows/movies but this was beyond dumb. They didn't catch anything even though they claim to have massive amounts of evidence. I suggest they never make another movie again. This is not your thing. Please please please don't torture us with this again.
