Witches and Fairies and Tacos... Oh My Kindle Edition
Practical Magic meets Bewitched
First Book in the House Witches Mystery SeriesCharli Quinn and her sister Brielle own House Witches Cleaning and promise to clean like magic. They may not be your everyday, run-of-the-mill witches, but they are... something.
When Charli finds the husband of one of their clients dead, the wind warns her to beware the man with eyes of green. As the sisters search for the ominous man, they find themselves in danger and rely on their real magic to outsmart the killer.
Along the way, Charli and Brielle have help from a group of fairies, and even a talking cow. And Charli falls head over broomstick for a tall, sexy deputy with dreamy blue eyes who saves her from being hijacked by a water sprite.
Of course, it wouldn't be Texas without tacos.

I really liked this book. I haven’t read anything by this author before but I can’t wait to read another!

Good for teen or adult. No harsh language or sex. Two sisters who aren't supposed to be witches use their talent to quietly help others. They clean, cleanse, assess and harmonize homes. Along the way to solving a murder you're introduced to family and friends, maybe a fairy or four as well.

Love it and wishing I could read in my sleep would be a awesome tv series as long as the author had total control. Funny and cozy mystery with witches with bib hearts helping their clients with housekeeping or bringing calm to their lives with herbs and plants,

Charli and her sister run a house cleaning service. It’s not like any house cleaning you’ve ever seen they clean the house of bad energy but I do clean the house also. And this one one of their clients husband is murdered and they have to figure out who did it before it’s too late. It’s pretty good book for a first book looking forward to the second.

This is such a great story; I can't wait to read more about Brielle and Charli's adventures! I've been pondering the subject of books that you "can't get enough of," and what makes the difference in characters that you follow along "from outside" and barely remember their names when you go to write a review, and others that are as comfortable and interesting as real friends. In her Afterword to the reader, the author says that the minute these two introduced themselves to her, she knew that this book would be so much fun for her to write, and every day when she asked them what came next, they showed her;-) That must explain something or other -

The first book in this series was great. The witchy sisters were smart and funny. I enjoyed watching their interactions. Looking forward to the next book. If you enjoy a good mystery, family, friendship, magic, and a bit of romance, then this is the book for you.

I wasn't sure about this book at first but so glad I got it. For a cozy mystery, it has all the bases covered; quirky sisters, new romance, murder mystery, an innocent child, and danger.
