I have read all of Heather's books and I love them all, but this jewel is the best she has written, so far!!! 😍
Her take on wolf shifters in this new series is so original and fantastic, I'm so in love with the world she has created; the plot is wow, mind blowing, and the characters so lovable and relatable, I really feel and understand them 🥰
Cait has proven so strong, after her life is turned upside down, she's taken all the change the best way she can but, of course, there are moments when she's overwhelmed and does or says things she shouldn’t 😬
Roman is so damn hot and is behaving so good, even if his alpha side wants to just take Cait away and never let her go 😍🔥 #Iwilltotallygowithhim #mine #hotalphamale #yummy 😁
The side characters are also amazing, I'm rooting for a BFF as awesome as Embry 🤗
I love this book so much and am dying to read the next one, mainly after that f'ing cliffhanger 😩 😭... But couldn't have it any other way, as it just paved the way for a even better second book, which I'm certain Heather will deliver 🥰❤️

Had potential but Awful female lead

I loved Roman, the male lead. The story itself was decent but had one flaw that knocked off 2.5 stars for me. The female lead, Cait. Im lenient of whining to a point but it NEVER stopped for her. She was so rude to Roman the entire time. (When he was nothing but accommodating to her wants) all the time spent with her internal whiney dialogue, she never once tried to communicate her real problem with it all. I think the author was trying to do the "stubborn = feisty/strong" but it was just cringey and annoying.

I met 4 ladies online at a book group. We have been friends for over a year. We text almost every day. They have been my rock through a bad relationship. We laugh and cry together. However, they get me. They are my ride or die chicks. I am so thankful someone wrote a book with our kind of friendship in it. I had to immediately share the quote from the book about their friendship. The ladies loved it. And are planning to read it! This book is so different from other shifter books, in a good way! I love Embry's character. She's so bubbly, energetic and full of life. Roman comes off as a bit stupid or dog like at first, but keep going & read his take on his meeting Cait. I respect that Cait wants to have her freedom & not be controlled by being someone's mate. However, she didn't even give it a good try. How can she know what she wants if she doesn't even try to get to know Roman? I really hate that I have to wait till November for the next book though! Please try to get it done faster.

What is there not to say about this book! We first met Roman in Dark Fae Freed and I honestly fell in love with him then. He is everything you want from your main hero. I just love him if you can’t tell.

Then there is Cait! She is just dropped into the world of shifters and finds out she holds a ton of power. Why would she want fate to decide her life. She doesn’t but then again fate chose Roman for her and he’s just perfect.

The ending was perfect too! Roman will make it better! I have all the faith in him!

So, if you've read the author's Broken Court series, you've already been introduced to Roman and now we meet Cait! I love the dual POVs in this book, it's a style I'm becoming more and more fond of to really get to see the events from the perspective of both main characters can be very helpful. Cait herself, I have a love/hate relationship with right now. Her attitudes and reactions to her situation are completely understandable and I'd say even realistic if a person was actually somehow thrown into these scenarios. However, I can only deal with the mule-headed brand of independence for so long, I'm hoping we'll see some nice character development from her in the continuing books. She's got a lot of promise! Roman is just... Roman, possessive, alpha; what's not to love? lol I am very impatient for the next book in the series!!

So I had to read this book twice because I was so into the book the first time I forgot to take notes. I love that this book isn't an instalove story. Instead, you see the effort to court and the trust start to build between the characters.

I love how the author included a map of her created world before the story took place.

Cait is in Australia as a nanny, a world traveler. She is a free-spirited girl with pain and a past she is trying to hide from. As she is enjoying the beach, a pinch and mark suddenly appear on her wrist. She is approached by an unknown man. Things don't start out well for them. After an intense interaction, she consults her bestie about the new mark on her wrist. Cait is human. Embry her long-time besties, who she hasn't met in person, isn't, but she doesn't know that yet. After a strange conversation, Embry instructs Cait to come back to America and to her in Texas. When she arrives and finally sees Embry in person, her mystery man from Australia shows up too and not so welcoming. We find out his name is Roman. He is a wolf shifter and Alpha of the East Texas Pack. Roman gets an earful, and his parents include past info about a Luna Marked. Things get interesting for Cait and Roman( I won't reveal all you have to read this one for yourself).

The story evolves from there to include some funny, sexy, and charismatic moments. Caits human life is changed, but what will it mean to be dropped into Romans paranormal world. How will she come to terms with and embrace the new path life has taken. This book is slightly different from the wolf shifter books I usually read. Still, I have enjoyed the surprise and folklore they included in this story. The relationship is sweet, charming, and sexy between the main characters, and I loved reading the interactions. She, unfortunately, makes a decision that leaves the reader stunned and only fed the surprises to come. Wow, this book was exciting and full of surprises, but it ends on a massive cliffhanger.

The author did a great job incorporating her character's personality and struggles into the story. It is easy for the reader to see the struggles that Cait is having and the protective instincts of Roman as an Alpha to his pack and as a mate. Unfortunately, the answers to what she is slow to come in this story, and I definitely look forward to reading the next one.

Cait is still reeling from the death of her mother and has moved to Austrailia and taken a job as a nanny when a crescent moon mark appears on her wrist. Cait runs into a man who is asking her all kinds of strange questions like who is your alpha along with other questions she does not understand. Cait thinks the mark is a bite of some sort and called her best friend to show her the mark. Cait's best friend makes arrangements for Cait to join her at her home. Cait is not aware of the supernatural world and has a hard time accepting that her friend is a werewolf and the pack alpha Roman, the man Cait met in Australia is Caits mate. Cait is different from other werewolves so that just makes matters worse for her since she has an internal power that others want to take from her. Will Roman be able to keep Cait safe when there is trouble at every turn? I love this book and will read it again. The characters all work well together and the story is amazing. This is an original story that tugs at your heart.

I love me a shifter book and Wolf Kissed was completely perfect! Heather Renee has an amazing way with her words and her world building is brilliant. Cait and Roman are literally everything. Cait even though she doesn’t fully comprehend everything that is happening she is rolling with the punches and is navigating this new life exceptionally well. Of course she has her moments where she does or says something but who would plus she is a strong independent woman. Roman is heart melting and it helps that he is hot AF too!!! These two together are fire and their chemistry is off the charts! Embry is literally the complete BFF package and I have a complete girl crush I love her so much. All of the secondary characters are amazing and I am seriously hoping we get learn more about them! I was completely grabbed from page one until the very last page where we are left with that WTH cliffy that leaves you like no this cannot be happening are you kidding me…. I need more ASAP. Author Heather Renee will have you all in your feelings through out this entire read. If you love a great Wolf Shifter story then this baby is for you. I 100% recommend grabbing this asap.

Cait is this free spirited curious and sassy Heroine while Roman is a sweet mate and a dedicated leader of his pack. Their tension is off the charts and building! The slow burn is real in this book haha
I really loved how this shifter romance isn’t an instant wam bam thank you ma’am but instead the Heroine is trying to figure out her new life and what she wants. I really loved how sweet Roman was and I can’t wait to see him and his feelings in the second book. The side characters were so supportive and funny, I love great side characters with possible promise of their own book. I have so many questions and thoughts and I need book 2 to figure out what’s gonna happen next!
