There went a half hour of my life I can never get back.

A "love story" that will make you gag.
Two men, a garbage truck, one man's loyal sister and a woman they picked up in the trash.
There is one quirky twist in the storyline, bit not enough for me to give it a full star.

As twisted as this author's mind is, he did write a few colorful phrases, such as "tighter than a rancid pork sausage stuffed into a hog;s intestines."

I think he summed up the book well, himself, when he called it " like watching a reality show set in a mental ward."

I do not know if I have ever given a one star review before. Perhaps I am feeling generous today.

It has been a long time since I have read a book in one sitting, but I know why Tony fell head over tails in love with Bagoo. I did too. This goofy tale was fun, if not very deep. Lots of amusing little phrases (like, "Tony could feel his love bubbling up from the crockpot of his soul."), and strange little plot twists reminiscent of a fairy tale. I will never look at penguins the same. So happy I won this Goodreads Giveaway!

Really funny book! Not your typical romance novel at all. Tony's repeated claims of "I'm never going to see Bagoo again" were the only thing I wasn't really a fan of... He just said it too much, but Bagoo's craziness made up for it. It's a really fast read, too. Definitely worth it if you want to laugh for an hour or so! It doesn't waste any time getting started.
