"Gramma, it'd be so funny, if you were a rappin' Grammy." "Can we play this again?" I reckon she really liked it. She said a thumbs up on it!
Okay, I have to say I THOUGHT this would be a fun and silly game to play with my Granddaughter who is eight years old. It was so much more, and I had just as much fun as she did!
Just listening carefully to her answers and the bit of explanation of WHY she chose what she did. Very interesting, all this enlightenment while having fun. We played with what first popped into our heads, but able to change our answers after thinking about it. There are no right or wrong answers, no scores to keep, no competition; however, there is the realization of quality time spent together, all while learning, thinking, laughing, and having fun.
I feel I got her honest answers. She wasn't telling me what she thought I wanted to hear, but what was in her mind and heart simply because it WAS a game to her. She would rather have a pet lizard, than a pet snake lol-so silly because Gramma didn't want either. She would rather do a one page oral report than a 5 page written report-she's not shy, but does hate to write. Just two of the many "Would You Rather" questions, with a ton more in here.
Kudos to the author for making this so enjoyable, time passes so fast when you're having fun.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
An example of questions: Would you rather walk the dog or take out the trash? And, one more...Would you rather have a pet lizard or a pet iguana?
These questions (and answers) will allow the participants to take turns and more importantly, I feel, the opportunity to explain the reason they chose their answer..
All in all, a fun book for the family to enjoy.
Most highly recommended.
