Don’t waste your money

Canning lids are currently unavailable in my area. I chose to order these lids because they were to be delivered in 2 days. They are of inferior quality! Out of 50 lids used, 12 lids buckled in the pressure canning process. (25 minutes at 10 pounds of pressure).

Definitely NOT even close to the quality of Ball

I had high hopes. However, 1/4 of these did not seal. It was so weird. The seal would buckle during the water bath. ?? I have never experienced this happen before. So, I took a closer look. Found a couple things. Many of the rings were 'incomplete'. By that I mean that the rolled bottom edge had an open spot in it. Also, for the ones of this brand I bought with rings and seals, I found the rings difficult to get started correctly on any brand in my collection of canning jars. From Kerr to Ball to off label. It didn't matter. They were also weak. I could easily twist them.
As far as the seals. They lacked the amount of rubber sealant that the ball brand has. I'd say about 1/2 of what Ball puts on their seals.
It was an overall bummer.
I will buy only Ball or Kerr from now on. Not worth the risk and hassle.

Used on 24 jars, 18 did not seal. If you tap down on the cover and it goes down, after the jar is completely cooled turn the jar over it should not pop back up for a paper seal. My husband checked the amount of “rubber” on the seal compared to Ball. The thickness was thinner on these. Would not purchase again. Threw the rest out
Update on lids I thought were seals had mold ruined 25 gallons of food .

So far, I like the product; however, time will tell. The lids are much thinner than the generic ones I used to buy. Of course, they are made in China, which I do not like, but what choice do we have. Of course, I know you get what you pay for so I will see how long they stay sealed. I bought them because of the price. One of the lids I've run across so far (haven't checked the others) has a little of the white scratched off on the underside. I don't know if I can use it or not. I was amazed that no stores (4 of them) that I searched had no lids at all. There was a BIG increase in prices between last year and this year.

I am losing at least one jar per batch because of the lids are not all sealing. I never had this problem with ball lids. Unfortunately people are buying those up and they are hard to find for a reasonable price.

What I didn't like about this project is during the processing part of these lids will make a loud sound and they buckle up. They appear to seal Lucille when they buckled back down after pulling them out of the canner. But it makes me unsure how well the seal is

Yes, they are inexpensive, but many will not seal. They buckle because they are inexpensively made (read: cheap). We've been canning juices and at least half of our jars did not seal. Buy something else.

These lids are ok but I noticed a lot of them have scratches on the inside which make them Susceptible to corrosion from acid foods. Won’t be using them for long term storage of tomatoes or acid foods.
