Blog postI dreamt about my characters the other night. This doesn’t happen to me often. In fact, it’s only happened to me a few times, with a few series. I dreamed about the Indigo Court series, before I ever wrote it. And even during the writing, I had several interesting vampire dreams that led right back to Lannan. They weren’t exactly the most pleasant dreams — considering that the Lannan character is half off his rocker and definitely out for himself.

Blog postSo, I decided to clicker train the cats, so that when Sam goes into the garage, they don’t try to dart in there. At first, it worked as planned. But Ellie has ideas of her own. We started to notice that she would hear Sam say “Can you click the kitties” and she’d come running to me before I clicked the clicker and play red dot with her.
But it’s expanded. Ellie now runs over to the garage door when Andria walks toward it . Then she races to my office for her treat. Apparently, she now6 days ago Read more -

Blog postSo, we’re having a heatwave. It’s horrendous. We’re having a week of 90+ degree days. Now for some places that’s not unusual, but here it’s dangerous. Our region isn’t geared for it. I know I’ve got a perpetual headache and that’s WITH UF reflective film on my office windows and the fact that we have house-wide AC. But we’re part of only 44% in the area who actually do have AC. And the environment here does not thrive in heat.

Blog postHey peeps, how are you guys doing? The conference is over, and I have tons of stuff to go through, but I also have to get Crystal Web finished and to my editor by next week. I’m using Dragon to write, because this morning when I woke up my right thumb was stabbing me with pain. It’s severe tendinitis, and acts up now and then. If I give it a days break it should be fine by tomorrow — I hope. I just overstretched it a bit of one point.

Just when Killian and I are planning our vacation, Cupid strikes Moonshadow Bay. But it's not exactly love at first sight for the victims, and we at Conjure Ink have our hands full. Someone’s attacking townsfolk, shooting them with arrows that are enchanted by a love potion. Not only are the victims hurt, but they fall into obsessive love—a love that can be dangerous.
And in the middle of this, a restaurant that used to be a funeral home is having ghostly encounters of the harrowing kind. I just hope we can take care of all of this before Killian and I head off on vacation to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

I'm not so sure about my new life. At 52--and being one of the witchborn--I'm not really ready to leave my old job. But with a rogue vampire group after me for exposing their crimes, it's too dangerous to stay at my old job. In fact, they insist that I go into the WPA--the Witches' Protection Agency--and that I settle down into a new life with a new name.
So now I'm Marquette Sanders, and apparently I'm going to be owning a shop, where I read tarot and cast spells for a living. But damn, nobody told me life in a small town brings with it its own share of danger.
Shadow Magic, my new shop, comes complete with customers I inherit from Granny Ledbetter, who retired from being the preeminent witch in town. She's still around but she's ready to retire and grow petunias. Since I now own her business, it also means I have to work with Dagda Demoines, the police chief and one of the most annoying bear shifters I've ever met. I'm on call for cases involving magic. And there seem to be far more of them than I ever thought could happen in a small town.
Somehow, life doesn't seem any simpler than when I worked for the Feds. In fact, I'm beginning to rethink what's more dangerous: the Blood Wing Collective, or facing down the citizens of Terameth Lake.
This series is Paranormal Women's Fiction. It's NOT a cozy series. *grins* For those who love my quirky humor, scary-assed stories, and who don't mind that some of my characters swear like a trucker.

Born into a family of witches, January accepts a job at Conjure Ink, a paranormal investigations website. The job’s right up her alley but she doubts that everything reported to Conjure Ink really exists. That is, until she’s sent out on her first case. An abandoned asylum once housed a murderer, who killed an entire family one Yuletide Eve. It’s rumored that every December he returns to haunt the woodland around the asylum, seeking to add new members to his supernatural family.
January’s sure it’s an urban legend, but when new victims show up with no logical explanation for their deaths, Conjure Ink sends her in to investigate. Now, January must not only navigate the new life she’s trying to build, but the paranormal beasties she’s sent out to explore, as well as a hot new neighbor, who seems to be hiding a shadowed past of his own.

I now work for the newly revamped Wild Hunt Agency--a PI firm, and boy are my colleagues quirky. For one thing, it's run by a wild demi-god named Yutani, who is as chaotic as his father, the Great Coyote. I find him too attractive, and a little dangerous. And now, life suddenly becomes a rollercoaster as the dragons lose their immortality and all hell breaks loose.
You don't have to have read the Wild Hunt Series in order to read Lyrical's books. For those who love quirky and a little bit twisted urban fantasy with hot guys, lots of action, and women who rule themselves.
January Jaxson’s settling into her life in Moonshadow Bay, and her new relationship with wolf shifter Killian O’Connell. Her job with Conjure Ink is proving both fascinating as well as dangerous. But little does January realize that she's about to let the actual genie out of the proverbial bottle.
When she bought an old bottle in a thrift shop, January didn’t expect to be purchasing a guest for her home. Now, with a djinn on her hands, she finds herself promising to track down something for her unexpected houseguest so he can finally gain his freedom.
At the same time, she’s thrown into one of the spookiest hauntings she’s ever experienced when a local restaurant suddenly falls prey to ghosts seeking revenge. Will she be able to get rid of her houseguest and keep the ghosts from killing their latest target, or will this job prove too much for January as she faces the big 4-1?

The holidays are here, and this year, they’re deadly…
It’s my first Thanksgiving back in Moonshadow Bay, and everything is hunky-dory until the Witches Guild assigns me a research project for the upcoming Winter Solstice Festival. Not only do I melt down my computer, but I download a demon who ends up stuck in my house.
But Tarvish the Funtime demon is the least of my worries when my grandmother asks my BFF and me to go undercover. A magical pyramid scheme has moved into town and it’s siphoning more than money off its recruits. Will we be able to take it down, or will the leader of the cult manage to silence us for good?

January finds herself plagued with a frightening ghost when renovations literally uncover a skeleton in a hidden room. She must discover who the dead man was and why his skeleton is in her house before she can exorcise the spirit—not an easy task in itself. On top of that, at work an even more serious issue arises when Conjure Ink’s new client is killed by the Whatcom Devil—an urban legend come to life. And now, it’s stalking January. Can Conjure Ink manage to find and destroy the creature before it manages to claim January as its next victim?

To the rakshasa who enslaved my sister: you just made the worst mistake you’ll ever make in your life.
Yes, I’m a hedge dragon. An abomination, or so they call my kind. I’m a loner, but I’m also loyal to my sister. Turns out, the rest of the family couldn’t care less. I’m the only one willing to go after her when she vanishes.
She’s being held in Owlanvine, a city in the desert. To reach her, I must travel through the Poisoned Forest, one of the darkest, deadliest places in Wildemoone. But the Lord of the Hunt and his Lady take pity on me and offer me help.
Now, together with a small band of allies who I swear are more trouble than they’re worth, I’m out to save my sister before she’s lost forever, and before the forest does all of us in.
This is a spinoff of the Wild Hunt Series. You do not need to read the Wild Hunt Series to read the Hedge Dragon Series.
