A lot of fun. Somewhere between Harry Potter and Bewitched
Verified purchase
I like Nikki Deloach every time. This was the best I have ever seen her. Just amazing. She just added to the goodness of this one. It was comical, and magical, and touching. It had the Bewitched feel without the legacy amateurism and cheese. It had the Harry Potter feel without the dark parts. I bought this immediately and highly recommend it.

And Regina (Briana Lane) is "telepathical". Let's see if you get the reference?

This is a movies staple for me during Halloween.

It is the corniest movie I've seen but it is absolutely adorable. I rent it every year. Honestly, at this point, I should just buy it. Cute movie about a modern coven of witches, rules about getting married before you lose your powers, which means hijinx ensues, and a cute beginning to a love story. Sometimes I wish there was a second movie to continue the story.

Cute holiday movie for Halloween
Verified purchase
Cute. Better than a typical Hallmark and its ilk, even though it may have been one at one time. If you're looking for a lighthearted Halloween-themed movie, this fits the bill. It's a light romcom.

It's low budget, but they do the best they can with the bland sets.

The cast features some familiar faces. I enjoyed seeing the wonderful Carolyn Hennesey from "Cougar Town" and Harley Jane Kozak whom I remember from something. Nikki Deloach was a favorite in "North Shore." I wasn't familiar with the leading man, but he's certainly easy on the eyes as the saying goes.

The director is Tosca Musk of that famous family.

Delightful - magic of love
Verified purchase
A modern take on witches and warlocks and the 'magic' power of love. A light touch, rather realistic and relatable.
Loved it - wish there was an entire series.
Romantic but not too mushy, good storyline.

It was OK

I usually love anything Hallmark and anything Halloween, but this was just ok. I watched the whole thing, so I guess that is something, but won’t be watching again.

Best romantic story
Verified purchase
I like romantic stories. I love this one. The story line is not overly complicated, but t is meant to a story about two people falling in love, unknowingly...with consequences. It was released in 2015 and I am ashamed to say, I have not seen it until tonight.

The actors Nikki DeLoach and Ryan McPartlin had a great chemistry that put the magic in this romantic movie. I am not ignoring the rest of the cast, they pulled the rest of the story together so that the romance could happen.

MarVista produced a wonderful, light heart and well acted movie. I'm going to go look for more of them. Thank you for the enjoyable movie.

Channeling Hallmark?
Verified purchase
It was an ok story, but I felt like I was watching a Hallmark Movie. Hallmark as in barely developed characters and relations, moderately decent acting, props right out of Goodwill. I mean seriously....a Corningware pot for a cauldron? The leading man had zero emotions. I kept expecting Torri Spelling to jump out of the bushes! Could have been great but that low-budget HallMark style is one big yawn with the expected mushy happy ending.

Feel Good Halloween Movie* G rated

***spoiler***
Uplifting halloween romance about a warlock with a family business that sells smoothies. Feel good smoothies - cures for common cold, and energy lift etc. . . (But really they're spells). Falls in love with a mortal . . . or did he?

I found it cute and fun. Good storyline, but the magic could have been better visual effects or better technology. So that part was cheesy. However, I didn't buy the movie believing it was emmy worthy. I enjoyed the show. Defiantly a chick flick . . . romance.

G rated - feel good.

Wish I could buy a smoothie to help me with my common cold.
