You may think you're not ready to make a difference in God's Kingdom or that you're too young for others to take seriously. But that's not what God thinks.
At some point, you have to understand your own purpose and significance in the kingdom of God. How does God want to use you? This book uses the Old Testament leader Joshua as a model for stepping up to God's big calling. Before Joshua, Moses was the one who had spoken to God, performed miracles, and challenged Pharaoh. But at some point, Joshua had to come out to the front. So what did he do? How did he step up? And what steps can you take to seize "now" for yourself?
Now is your time. If you will be steadfast and unmovable, and always abound in what God is calling you to do, you'll see that it will not be in vain. He has a plan, a destiny for your life. Now means "not later." Now means "don't wait." God wants to do great things.

From the Back Cover
Jonathan Evans was riding the coattails of his father's relationship with God. The son of a highly accomplished pastor with a huge ministry, he was comfortable and did what he had to do, but he didn't push himself to figure out his own role or purpose. But as he got older, he realized he needed to do more with his life.

Still....I’d recommend this book. Good to see Christians stepping out in faith without all the guarantees of success.
Even our mistakes can/often are used to reflect his glorious image.
I bought this book out of curiosity. I wondered what this Evans would have to say. I did not expect to be moved or challenged. But I was so wrong...
This book reads easily, asks questions for you to ask yourself, and has nice print for older eyes.
I found this young author to be a quiet powerhouse! From page one he caught me off guard and kept me there all the way through the book.
He speaks about broken dreams (including his own) such as: ruined relationships, financial troubles, life plans etc., and says simply: “Too many of us fixate so much on what has died that we forget that God himself is still very much alive.”
He speaks from the pages of the Bible as one who has been hurt and then walked with God through the hurt to a better place.
He has ideas that can relate to young and old. He brings challenges to the table that we need to hear. He is not a couch-Christian. He is a “Let’s do our work NOW and let God lead the way” kind of man.
I recommend it to anyone seeking to deepen their relationship with God and who desire to put feet on their faith!
And maybe especially to those of us with silver hair. Too often we sit back when the Church still needs us. There is a work to be done and we all need to work together. Let this Evans nudge you out of your rocking chair or off the golf course to go and do the Lord’s work!
