If you're considering getting something as frivolous as a milk frother, then you probably want the thing to just work. Buy this one. This is the frother that all the other ones want to be when they grow up. It works, every time, perfectly. it's well balanced, easy to use, and does what it says on the label. Don't waste time with any other brand. Seriously. The frother tip is made differently on this one than on any of the others, and apparently Zyliss knew what they were doing when they designed it.

Easy way to make your bullet-proof coffee

When I first started with a Keto diet plan I added the morning "bullet-proof" coffee (BPC) . However, using a blender to mix it all was just a mess to clean. I decided to try one of these Zyliss frothers and have been using them to prepare my BPC coffee now for many years. They spin fast enough and the frothing wheel does a great job. The caveat is that you have to froth/mix with only half the cup filled and then add the rest of the coffee later (stir with a spoon) or else the coffee flies everywhere. I use rechargeable batteries in mine. They don't last forever (a year or slightly more) as the motors just seem to die eventually. Keep backups!

We just recently purchased this frother to replace a different brand that we’ve had for years that broke. Unfortunately that brand was no longer available. We purchased this Zyliss frother since we have other Zyliss products that we like. Big mistake. It doesn’t froth very well at all. It isn’t high-speed, and barely froths the milk. The side button is easy to hit by accident, and then frothed milk goes everywhere onto your counter. Now we are in search of frother that actually works! Very disappointing. Please don’t waste your money on this product.

Does Not Froth as Expected

I chose this frother, because it has an on button that does not have to be held down while you are using it. The problem is, this frother does not work. It does nothing except create a few bubbles. I have had other types of frothers of a similar price, but with a different design (corkscrew type of frothing element) and the other ones actually froth. This one is a waste of money. It's not even worth the low price I paid for it, because it doesn't work. I do use heavy cream, so it could be that it works best in liquids that are thinner. I'm not sure, which is why I am giving it 2 stars instead of one.

I used this thing 3 x a day 7 days a week for my coffee and match lattes. Works with cold or hot liquids, real and alternative milk. It's so good I got my mom one who swears it's changed her life. Be careful though wire can be delicate, I accidentally jammed mine in a drawer but was able to bend it back in place.

This handheld frother is easy to use, and if you use an espresso machines with its own frother, you can have both your milk and espresso ready at the same time for your morning latte or cappuccino with this handheld frother by heating your milk and frothing it in the time it takes to brew your double espresso coffee. But sometimes the froth doesn't hold throughout the entire sipping of my cappuccino. I think it's my frothing technique--the first time it worked perfectly, but it's hit-and-miss for me now. Or it's the nonfat milk I use instead of 2% or whole milk. It still saves time, which is a bennie, and it's also more hit than miss, so I'm glad I bought it.

First...I never buy any kitchen tools...kitchen is not my domain. I randomly saw this and decided to gift it to a friend that frequents expensive but poor tasting coffee joints. I ordered one for myself as well. It works exactly as expected. It comes with batteries. I believe I purchased this last November (2020) so the batteries lasted a year. Much longer than expected. I did not use daily. For the price it makes a good gift if you are on a budget.
