For a ceiling mount, at what height does the projector need to be in comparison to the top of the screen?

Depends on where the top of your screen is and what type of mount you are using. The mount i have adjust at multiple angles. Its the VIVO universal sold here on amazon. Amazing mount. I have the center of my lens mounted approximately 14" from the ceiling yet im still able to completely miss my ceiling fan and display an image with the top being less than a 1' away from my ceiling.
