If I change a strap say twice a week, how often do you think I need to replace the fork tip?

Probably every few years. I use my Bergeon 6767 quite regularly and the fork tip is still as good as new.

As long as your fork tip hasn't bent and is performing as expected it shouldn't have to be replaced until it no longer works properly. I keep an extra on hand just in case.

I'm not sure, but probably will last longer changing metal bands. Fork is thin and could be broken more easily changing leather straps, which require working fork between band and lug.

Hi,
If you are "gentle" in general and we are only talking wear to the tip. I would be surprised if you replaced it more then once a year

It depends on how skilled and careful you are and how tight the space between the strap/bracelet from the lug holes. It is a tough little tip , unlike the cheap soft metal tip from the cheap Chinese giveaway spring bar tool.

That would depend a bit on your skill level if changing out the spring bars. I’ve had my Bergeon for over a year and used it around 40 times and it still looks new.
