Can't speak to the speedmaster specifically, but I bought this tool for my Omega planet ocean 8500 and it works perfectly.

If you have the original watch band on there it will work perfectly.

I would say yes, it's basically a universal tool that will push in the pins or the forked end will reach in, grab, and retract the pins.
Your Omega is a pretty standard design and has no special design features as far as the band and the spring bar pins go.
I've used mine on several watches with both types of Spring Bar Pin access and it works fine.
It also punches an important button for me,,, it's quality.
I hate having cheap tools and this is a very nice unit.
