Is it truly 14+? Can it be adapted to younger players (fairly easily)? Or just forget it?

I am not sure why it is 14+. I think it would be fine as long as they can understand the rules and be fine being sabotaged. Just don't get the NSFW expansion pack :)
The game says 14+, but we play with my 8 and 10 year old. The kids need to have strong reading skills, or you can choose to play as teams until the little ones get better at reading.
We bought this game a while back during the Kickstarter. My 9 and 11 year old play it easily. I think it's fun and easy to pick up on. We have one of the expansion packs too (I forget which one).
The Unstable Unicorns base game is recommended for ages 14+ due to content, which includes cartoon violence and crude humor.
My little brother has no problem with this game, and he’s 12. So shouldn’t be an issue for younger ones to learn it, as long as they have a good attention span
My 10 year old niece is amazing at this game. I think it's simply because it's difficult for younger children, but if they understand how to play then it's fine
My 9 year old plays with us. Sometimes we just have to help her but she does just fine otherwise. It is a fun family game. I can’t wait until all the expansions are available.
My 5 year old niece plays. She can’t read. She just remembers what the cards do.
Yes it can be adapted. I bought this for a 10 year old and she understood the rules
Just play, who’s going to stop you if you decide to play with your kids??? NO ONE
