Will it fit under an airplane seat? That depends upon how much stuff you put into it. When filled completely up to what is pictured, here on Amazon, it is kind of a tube shape about 22" in overall height, with an average diameter of around 11". It is possible to pack your items in a way that the bag is comfortable to wear, and you can actually pack quite a large amount of items into the bag. The vertical straps that clip to the top flap serve to compress the contents of the bag and seem to work quite well.

Yes, it does. I recently used this product on a 5 hour plane ride and it fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. If you stuff the bag your feet space will be limited but I carried the backpack and my purse on board no trouble at all.
