Yes, it is slightly cushioned. It feels like I'm walking on clouds because of the shape of the insole. I absolutely love my Vionic sandals.

Yes.....very much so. It is great support for your arch also. The most comfortable shoe, that also looks great, that I have ever worn.

Not extra-cushiony, but a softer, flexible plastic. I like that these don't retain a sweaty footprint after wearing them. :) There are flat, slightly raised dots on the sole (about the size of a thumbtack in diameter) - they don't give me any problems, but I have read other reviews from people who don't like them.

I wouldn't call it padded (like memory foam) however it isn't hard either. More like a flexible rubber with a felt-type covering. I bought the patent leather one and I really like it but it is already peeling on the part that goes over the toes on one of the shoes. This could just be a defective product. I've contacted the seller but no response.

It is supportive for plantar fasciitis. It is rubberized, so it is cushiony!!
