Does this cover rechargable batteries that are enclosed in a product? ie sphero has a non-replaceable, rechargable battery. would that be covered?

This protection plan is designed to cover your item for mechanical and electrical failures due to normal use with the added benefit of accidental damage protection. Replaceable components such as batteries are considered consumable items and are not covered by this plan. However, if the unit has a built-in battery that cannot be user replaced, we may be able to consider failures with it as a claimable issue.
