The instructions are EXACTLY the same as Monopoly. Its just cat themed. 

Very good quality; I was pleasantly surprised. And no, they do not rip or fall apart easily. I bought this for myself but would also feel good about giving it as a gift to another cat lover.

purchasing cats: when landing on an unowned cat, a player has the option to purchase that cat. If purchased, the player receives a deed. If not purchasing, any player has the option to purchase that cat. Highest bider gets the deed. That's all I know.

No, the different breeds don't feature calico coloring. The pieces are a milk bottle, food can, ball of yarn, mouse, sardine can and fish.

From what I know, there are two versions, an older a newer one, but the only difference is that the newer one has more durable pieces, and that the images on the property cards are changed

It states 8 and older. I know my granddaughters like playing this game. The were 8 and 9 when I got it. It’s like any monopoly game as long as they understand the rules it is a fun game
