Answer:
The device will protect the Lan side of your network. No indication about the trip... you have to inspect lan machines.
We had a lighting event that blew all of our telecoms in a tower the Web PowerBar blew up but Lan was ok

Answer:
Hi, I expect that they provide it so you can put it between whatever you are protecting. Confirm this with the manufacturer but we have used longer cables on camera installs.
