I haven't held the " Carbon". The Cinnamon has a braided sleeve that's rough when you run your fingernail over it . It was a great upgrade from a cheap generic cable. I've since switched to a " Cardas Clear ". This $200 cable was a huge improvement over the Cinnamon, but at 3 times the cost . It has a smooth rubber out… see more I haven't held the " Carbon".
