It worked well. The manufacturer introduced it as the world's purest Lanolin. Anyway, it soothed the sore nipples of breastfeeding mother. The effect might vary from individual to individual.

The expiration date is located on the flap opening on the box as well as on the end of the cream tube at the top. My lanolin cream expires 07/2018 I hope I was able to help you out with this information.

It is the 1 41 oz. The manufacturer recently changed the size, and this seller didn't update their image.

I am not sure what the letters HPA mean, maybe natural hypoallergenic? The product ad says For more information to call: (1-800-292-3794). I know one thing, this cream was great for my nipples/breast while I was breastfeeding. It worked great.
