It is a medium white rice. You have to cook it. It is not A quick/minute rice. It is a sticky rice. Where it was grown should be on the products Amazon page.

It's not a glutinous rice like "sweet" rice used in Thai and other recipes. It's medium sized grain rice.

Texas-grown rice typically tests the highest for arsenic. These are from Cali. Who knows if it's any different. Generally speaking, you want rice from China. As much as it may not make sense, that's where rice contains less arsenic.

For a very long time, a year or more possibly. Don’t know exact duration. As long as the rice remains dry.

I am not sure if it works good or not with Maxican way to cook. But it’s really good for sushi and steam rice. It’s good products..

Yes! I follow the instructions on the package just in the rice cooker and it comes out perfect every time. I've done half servings (0.75 cups) and it's perfect then too
