Sleeves are included in the case. Out of the box this is capable of holding 400 discs.

I'm just purchasing this binder, but as to the booklets, I have an old accordion binder where I store those. One of these days, I hope to organize it better, but transferring the cds was smart in terms of space-saving.

Discs will not get scratched at all since they are organized in an individual plastic case. The weight of the rest of the discs does not affect the discs on the lower pages. It's perfectly safe.

The slots are only the width of a disc. I guess you could trim down the inserts to fit if you wanted to use some of the slots to store inserts with the discs. I don't think the slots will hold a disc and inserts together, so you would have to use one slot for the disc and one for the inserts.

I have 3 of these cases filled with dvd movies ( the 400 capacity) and have had them for about 2 years now and they are still as good as the day I transferred all my movies. Zipper and carry handle are perfect !!

No it is not a ring binder. However, It does have high quality fabric and thick plastic sleeves. The whole accidental DVD slipping out problem will never happen again.
