Answer:
Mine test normally stays positive for 2 days. BUT you have to be careful not to drink too much or it will dilute it and not detect the surge.

Answer:
I got a faint positive at 12DPO. I wasn't due for my period until 14DPO. I know the First Response tests claim they can tell you 5 days before your missed period, but I've never had symptoms that early. Typically, a test is 95% accurate the day before your missed period and 98-99% accurate the day OF your missed period.

Answer:
My control line also isn't dark. Sometimes my tests look faded and dry like they've been sitting there for awhile but they haven't. This is my first time using OPK strips.

Hello Amazon Customer,

Thank you for inquiring. Please make sure to read the results between 3-5 minutes. A control line (top line) should appear and if you are getting a test line, even faint it is a positive result read at 3-5 mins. Reading afterwards cannot be considered accurate and may be interpreted as a false positive. In addition, it is recommended to use first morning urine for the most concentrated HCG. If you are testing during the day, reduce your liquid consumption 2 hours prior to testing to assure a concentrated sample.

We can't speak for competitor brands but our product uses HCG 25mlU/ml (FDA standard) at cut off level to detect HCG present in the urine. In general, if a pregnancy occurred, HCG will be present in the body. It does take some time for the measured HCG to show up, typically within 1 day of your missed period, but can be detected sooner if implementation occurs earlier (4-7 days before missed period). Some competitors have lower cut-off levels, but it can also cause higher percentages of false positives.

Best Of Luck,

Best Regards,

Jessica

Answer:
2 years, but only two months after ordering these tests. I have irregular cycles and only ovulate a few times a year. I tracked my temperature every morning, tested 2-3 times a day with ovulation tests from CD 10. I ovulated 12 hours after my first positive test(test line darker than control).

Thank you for contacting Ashleyann Mabatid. Usually women do not ovulate twice in a month. It could happen if there was a shorter cycle in a longer month, but the possibility would be slim.

Thank you for contacting Ashleyann Mabatid. Usually women do not ovulate twice in a month. It could happen if there was a shorter cycle in a longer month, but the possibility would be slim.

Note, if the test read at 3-5 minutes did not show a T line the same or darker than the C line, it is a negative result. Women do have a natural wave of Lh peaks to low ( base lines). It is more likely that the results are showing as fainter or darker based on:

1. when you test
2. sample tested
3. reading the results at proper read time

Meaning, getting good samples are important to detect proper hormone levels. For LH testing, testing at 2pm or after and reducing liquids a couple hours before testing is optimal. Using dilute urine or very concentrated urine ( first morning) is not advised for LH testing. Lastly, make sure to read all results at 3-5 minutes. The tests will look much darker after 5 minutes until it dries several hours later.

Dear bharath,

Thanks for your questions.

Please kindly note that our App will mark the peak until the latest T/C ratio is lower than the last ratio which is highest in the same cycle.

Therefore, I'd recommend you to keep testing and the peak should show up soon.

I hope this helps and if you have any concerns about our App, please feel free to send feedback through the Support tab in our App or contact our customer service team via Amazon message, or by calling our toll-free at 1.855.822.6999 Mon-Fri 9 am - 5 pm CST.
