These towels will remove 99.9% of the bacteria from the surface wiped, however, the bacteria will still be alive in the towel. The towels need to be washed regularly to kill the bacteria.
As far as I know, there are no towels that do kill the bacteria on contact. The true antibacterial towels are silver treated, which will kill the bacteria in the towel after wiping the surface. The process works over a period of time (typically 24 hours). Silver treated towels will keep their antibacterial properties even after multiple washes as the silver is embedded into the yarn.
Other antibacterial treatments consist in dipping the towels in a solution during the manufacturing process, but it will loose its effectiveness after a few washes. see less

Not really but there are better towels for mirrors and glass. Use huck (surgical) cotton towels for that. Good weave and better glass towels. These are great for most other purposes but not for glass.

They are amazing for cleaning pretty much everything. I have never used them for that specific purpose but I think they would work well. However, they are rather large. About twice the size of your average washcloth.

Overpriced you might say but it saves them that trip to Costco.. I bought these online even though hearing they were cheaper in person. I just saved a trip to Costco thats it.. Not really overpriced... Good price..
