I use it to mist my plants, and I do find it to be soft enough.
However, I bought mine in January and the top of both is completely useless, thus rendering it useless.

It’s an empty bottle. Unless you put in something that isn’t safe to consume I would think it’s components in the sprayer and/or glass materials are safe?

Yes it can. It goes from a nice, fine spray to a stream that is narrow, to off, so three choices.

Yes it is. I use mine for an oil I spray into my hair, and it does not clog as long as that oil remains in liquid dorm at room temperature.

I don't see why not. It's a beautiful glass container. I think using it for spritzing bread is a great way to use it.

Yes, it holds water in the nozzle and will spray every time the trigger is squeezed.
