This is a matte product that helps lock the pores and keep oil from breaking thru your makeup.
So it’s not exactly a setting powder .
There are setting powders and press powders , this would fall under pressed powder (compact ) … see more

Another example : you’ve done you makeup 2/3 hours later you see oil or shine on your face you would use this to lightly press into your skin to absorb any moisture . see less

I would Translucent for maybe under eyes and places you have want highlighted .
But for baking or setting the whole face I would use a setting powder that has a medium dark shade , to somewhat match your skin complexion .
Anything bright will just show up white on tan/dark skin. … see more

I get super dark in the summer so if I’m using bright products it’ll show up drastically in photos. see less
