It contains “sodium caseinate” which is a milk derivative and required in non dairy products. It is classified lactose free and requires no refrigeration. If you google it you can see all ingredients listed.

I ordered mines in Aug, so the expiration date was Nov. However; I still have some and use them past the expiration date & it taste the same.

I bought my package in early November 2015 and it says to use by May 2016 - so I'd say 6 months.
