It sure will. That is how you charge the battery up also, but it will work like a usb keyboard.

I was able to pair and use the keyboard with a Computer running Windows 8.1. So it should work.

As long as the iPad has bluetooth, then I would assume so - but your best bet is to contact Apple to confirm that!
