No. When I got this - it was just the clamp/mount bracket. It will attach to most any tripod that uses the same size screw 1/4"?

Probably not, as it has a max height expansion of 8 inches. I am unsure of the width of a 10.5 inch pro. We use 9 inch iPads at school and it doesn't really want to accommodate them in cases.

Hi, the minimum is 5” however you’ll have a hard time holding a phone, since it is not wide enough for it.

It doesn't fit my new android phone when I have the phone vertical, landscape, in the device holder. However it does grip it good when have it horizontal in the holder. What size is your iPhone 8 plus?

It is designed more for tablets. You can buy clamps like this one in smaller size which are designed to hold average size cell phones which I have found and purchased to hold my LG G3 and now my G6 while the clamp is screwed onto a mono pole or tripod for taking videos.

It only held the iPad if it was taken out of any type of case. A student knocked the stand over and a piece broke off. So I would say stable but not sturdy.

The tripod does. The mount itself doesn't rotate. It's all subject to what you attach it to. It doesn't tilt or pan either.

Yes, a Kindle fire gen 5 will fit 8x5. Anything below than that will not fit.
