My wrist measured at 6.5" and I ordered the small. I wish I would have ordered the large. The small fits, but just barely. Yes but you have to swim with one arm while the arm with the Fitbit is high above the water. People might stare.....

I have the new he and the fit. I will say they are much easier to buckle than the original fit bit bands. However the buckle is slightly irritating for me..

Actually you can customize the display. I have t only show HR. You can customize it to show a variety of metrics (or remove the ones you don't like). You can also customize the "lift to view" option. The Alta HR does NOT track Flights. I just bought it and will be returning it because it does not keep track of flights.

Yes it does as long as you have your Bluetooth on. It will display and vibrate your calls and text messages.

Yes but it is so uncomfortable to sleep in. Too bulky. And there are 2 bright green laser lights that are constantly flickering from underneath the band. Really annoying. So I have to take it off and throw it in the drawer. The Fitbit flex was much nicer for sleeping.

One review said it doesn't tray know steps when pushing a cart. Is there a way around that? Could you just remove and place in your pants pocket to track steps?
