I shoot heavy video on an A7R3 with battery grip, using this battery. With the grip, 2 batteries being used, I get right at 4 hours 10 minutes of 4K 30P 100MBPs recording. I record local school pageants, weddings, music videos, and teaser films.

So, out of 100+ shoots on the A7R3, I'm averaging a smidge over 2 hours recording the highest quality video that the camera is capable of. I do use airplane mode while recording, which turns off all of the wireless features that I do not need. I use an external monitor for 99.9% of my recording; however, the LCD screen on the camera is still on even while connected to the external monitor.

This battery is a MASSIVE improvement over the previous fw-50 and was enough reason by itself for me to upgrade to the A7R3 from the A7R2. What used to take 4-5 batteries now takes 1-2. see less

This is just a battery that will be charged while installed the 7M3. The USB charger that came with the 7M3 will work.
