3. Make sure the card is inserted
4. Connect the camera in the offsite location to power
5. IMPORTANT: bring two cell phones or a cell phone and a iPad to this location
6. One cell phone (or iPad) should have the WYZE app installed
7. Set the other phone to "personal hot spot". It will produce a signal with a password
8. Use the app on other phone or iPad to connect to the camera by resetting the camera from the beginnimg.

ALTERNATIVELY:
Do not set the camera initially in the WIFI environment since you would need to set it up again using your "hot spot".
You can check the recording and monitor live by getting close to the camera and restarting your hot spot on the phone.
When you leave the area, the camera will NOT stream live but WILL record to the internal SD card. see less

Answer:
There are now several 'outdoor' mounts available for both Wyze cams. Some look like little bird houses with an overhanging roof. Pick one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F5WXHXB/?coliid=I1Y5G0YUY77ZGE&colid=2H80B79OJWI9F&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1

Answer:
The camera is accessed via an app that runs on iOS or Android. Only the initial configuration needs to be done via wi-fi. After that, the app retains the camera's configuration and your mobile does not need to be on the local wi-fi.

Card Size | SD Video |HD Video
8GB | 2-3 Days | 0.5-1 Day
16GB | 4-5 Days | 1-2 Days

Note: The camera will recognize larger cards (64GB+) that use exFAT, but these cards are less stable and are more likely to experience issues in the long run. While there are ways to force larger cards onto the FAT32 format, they are less likely to be recognized by the camera and may corrupt your data. see less

Answer:
It does continuous recording. I now have 4 of these and they are incredibly easy to set up and use. I have one set up facing out a bedroom window and it works great. Just bought the swivel one and it's going to come in handy. They are selling a 32 GB MicroSDHC card class 10 for 9.99. Works great.
