When I ordered this, I received 3 - 100 Watt light bulbs, so I had to return them and buy from someone else. Their description is wrong.

The color temperature is not listed on the box, but I would guess from my installation somewhere between 4000 & 4500k.

These are designed for outdoor dusk to dawn fixtures. They have specific ballast circuitry and without such, they would not work in a typical indoor fixture.

Video could not be loaded
This video shows a 100watt metal halide bulb. The bulb type, wattage and base size is stamped on the glass portion of bulb. Also if you bulb does not look like the inner glass tube if the bulb, you may not have a halide bulb.
These bulbs require a ballast and ballast and bulb type wattage must be matched.
