I would say it has been contaminated. I have not found anything in my vanilla pea powder.

Don't know. The powder that I use doesn't have any sweetener of any kind in it.

There is nothing like that in my Sun Warrior Protien Classic Plus. It just a consistent light beige powder. Was it this way when you received it, or did the black pieces appear after you opened it? I'd check with Sun Warrior.
