This HDMI switch 3 in 1 out need to manually switch everytime. You can use the remote control or the button to switch it. ( This HDMI switch comes with a IR remote control)

This will only fix that error if you replace hdmi cable--thats what the error means--bad hdmi

It wpuld work fine as long as the input provides an HDMI signal. I have my Roku connected.
