For a 16: 9 aspect ratio 228" (19FT) screen the projector would have to be placed between 24' 6"- 26' 10" away. At that distance there need to be no ambient light. The shadow border around the projected image from the Optoma HD143X is inherent to the architecture of the new DMD chip used. It is not noticeable when used with a projection screen with black frame and does not affect picture quality. Great resolution for gaming.
I have ps4. But it is only 720p but has a great picture. Do not use the Audio out from it though. It will damage your Sound bar.

Unless you can hide what would be a very long audio wire, using a Bluetooth connection from the audio source is the best idea. I generally watch movies using my iPad and connect audio via Bluetooth and have had no problems.

To get a 300" diagonal image, the HD142X must be between 32' 3" and 35' 4". If you have further questions, please contact Optoma at 888-289-6786.
