In my opinion they are equal to the Olfa brand. I do a fair amount of cutting and this blade is going strong. I'm sure it just depends on what you cut and how frequently you change your blades. I do a fair amount of cutting and this blade is going strong. I'm sure it just depends on what you cut and how frequently you change your blades. I sometimes have a bad habit of not changing my blades as often as recommended. But this hasn't been an issue. I've trimmed a quilt, with 100% cotton batting as well as the binding. Somolux Rotary cutter 60mm blades can be use with Various of materials, of course, also include thin fabrics. But I think the smaller size of rotary cutter will be easier to fix the thin fabric on cutting mat to get a more accurate cutting size

The oil keeps the blades from rusting - the material which the blades are made of will rust easily from humidity - wipe with off with alcohol based wipes before use.

I own the Olfa brand rotary cutter and it appears to me the Cricut blades do not fit.

If Olfa blades work these will to. I have an Olfa cutter and these work fine. They are super sharp.

I don't have a great deal of experience with these blades or cutters but I only change the blade when I stop getting a clean cut on the fabric.
