Haha! We’re all looking forward to an invention like that. In the meantime this device can help you find the remote that she hides during the superbowls
It will tell you where the Tile is located and depending on how close you are to it, it will play a sound or tune to help locate it within range. My husbands keys were stolen and I used the app on my phone to locate them in the thief’s backpack.

Hello there,
Great question! I can say that the Tile app is optimized so that it takes up as much battery like most other apps running on your phone. The key difference is that our app, unlike many others, does need to be open and running in the background at all times and performs background activity to ensure your items are still being tracked reliably.
If you prefer not to use your data network or location services to save battery, Tile can still work if you enable Bluetooth only. This way you'll be able to find and ring your misplaced items if they are within Bluetooth range (30-400 ft) depending on what Tile is attached to it. If you're not sure of your Tile's range, please visit the Tile App website help center and search "Tile Models."
If you have further questions or concerns, please reach out to us through the Tile App website's Help Center and click on Contact Customer Care. Be sure to use the email tied to your account and reference this review. We're happy to help.

Hello there,
Great question! While Tile has the ability to reliably track personal belongings, it wasn't designed for tracking people. Since Tile uses Bluetooth to keep track of your things, it can find something that is within up to a 400-foot range. Because Tile doesn't offer the same live tracking that a GPS device would, it's not the most reliable source for keeping up with something that's moving around relatively quickly. We recommend Tile to be used for things like your wallet, keys, school supplies, or something your kids tend to misplace often.
If you do decide to use Tile for tracking another person, you can utilize the power of our Tile Network when that Tile is out of range. Once a Tile is marked as lost within the app, any person who comes within range of your Tile with the app running will anonymously send you an updated location. Speed and accuracy of location updates depend on the size of the Network in your area, so we don't normally suggest relying on Tile to find a missing child or senior.
To learn more about how Tile works, please visit the Tile App website's help center and search "Tile Network" and "Frequently Asked Questions about Tile."

Great question! A Bluetooth connection with your phone is required for Tile to update it's location, and the Tile app must be open and running in order to save that location to the map.
We would suggest selecting "Notify When Found" within the app to utilize the power of our Tile Community! Hi there,
That is a great question, and yes you can! You can log in your one Tile account onto as many devices as you wish. Also, you have the option of sharing Tiles to different Tile accounts: https://tileteam.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205332837
One item of note though is that a Tile will only be able to be connected at any given point to one device at a Tile. You can still use it with two devices, but it will alternate connecting between the two depending on which is interacting with it at the time.

Standard Tile is about 100’ without any obstructions. However, it relies on Bluetooth so I would plan for 50’ in a house (if it works at all). My experience is a 50% success rate even when the tile is within 5’ (five feet).
Great question! Yes, you can definitely ring your Tile by tapping the ""Find"" button in the companion app that's installed on your mobile device if they are within the Bluetooth range of each other. For more information, visit the Tile App website's Help Center and search for 'How do I ring my Tile?'. We're here to help! - JA
