Probably, as long as he doesn't drink the bubble juice. And get a bubble machine. Hours of bubbles to chase. My nephews enjoy it too. Have tasted the bubbles. Say they don't taste good to

I cut the recipe in half & it worked fine. I filled a bowl with 4 1/2 cups of tap water & poured the bubble mix into it. I stirred very slowly so as not to make a bunch of bubbles. Yes! I find it easier to mix in a pot, to get the measurements correct, and then pour it in. 4-6 cups of water and 1 cup of mixture.

The ratio is:
(1:10) for Regular Bubble (bubble wands, bubble gun...etc.)
(1:6) for Giant Bubble (bubble rope, large bubble... etc.)
