I never used the USB port. it mostly stayed rolled up and out if the way. But the bag overall was definitely worth the money. I’ve taken it hiking. It is Very durable.
This backpack can carry "all the things"! I think it's great for middle school. It is sturdy enough to last. I used it as a teacher bag last year and it is still like brand new. No wear or tear. I'm using it again this fall. Everyone loved it and always complimented on it.
