Alarms:

“Alexa, set an alarm for 7am.”

Repeating alarms:

“Alexa, set an alarm for every Monday at 8am.”

Music alarms:

“Alexa, wake me up at 7am to ‘The Lazy Song’ by Bruno Mars.”

Timers:

“Alexa, set a timer for 15 minutes.”

Sleep & wake timers:

Calendar & Email

Calendars

Link a calendar or email from Google, G Suite, iCloud, Outlook.com, or Office365, then just ask Alexa to add events, browse your upcoming events, or check your emails.

Thumbnail Follow the on-screen instructions to allow Alexa to access your calendar. Linking typically involves entering the sign-in information for your calendar or email. Then, just ask:

Keep track of your schedule:

“Alexa, what’s on my calendar today?”

“Alexa, what’s my next meeting?”

“Alexa, what are my work briefings?”

Schedule appointments or meetings:

“Alexa, add ‘dentist appointment’ to my calendar.”

“Alexa, join my meeting.”

“Alexa, end my meeting."

Manage or change your calendar:

“Alexa, move 'dentist appointment' from 3pm to 5pm.”

Manage your email:

“Alexa, check my email.”

“Alexa, read my emails.”

“Alexa, reply to this email.”

“Alexa, archive this email.”

Reminders

Whenever you have any important events or tasks you don’t want to forget, Alexa can make sure to remind you at the correct time, and can even send a reminder to your mobile phone in case you’re away from your device.

Just ask:

“Alexa, remind me to call mom on Saturday at 2pm.”

“Alexa, remind me to take the laundry out in 30 minutes."

“Alexa, remind me to walk the dog every day at 6pm."

Lists

Every Alexa account comes with shopping and to-do lists. Use your voice to add items, then access those lists by voice or in your Alexa app. You can also access your Alexa lists in other popular mobile apps such as Any.do, AnyList, and Todoist. Learn more about lists, or just ask:
