EXCELLENT! Reception, installation, lots of channels! Great buy!

…When we relocated the antenna to the attic - VOILA - perfect reception on all 40+ channels!!…

Will this work in the attic?

I have it in the garage without any problems. I assume if it is not obstructed from the signal being broadcast it would work fine in an attic.

Antenna

…Mounted in attic.…

My tv is in the basement. can extra coax cable be added to extend the coax and elevate the antenna up to higher floors? how long can total coax be?

Yes. My coax cable for this antenna has a total distance of approximately 50 ft and up 3 floors. I plug the power for the antenna in up in the attic where the antenna is located, not at the TV.

can this work in any country even nigeria?

Only as long as you're within a 40-50 mile radius and no very large obstructions (trees, buildings etc) In our Family room we get 12-14 channels from the Atlanta area 40-60 miles depending on which station, I moved it to our attic and moved it to different spots up there we're now getting 61 channels which several are radio stations. Bottom line if your within range of the Broadcast Antennas you're bound to pick up some, and be prepared to move it around till you have it tweaked out good.

…I have a cape cod style house and I put the antenna in the attic and ran a cable down to the basement, where I plugged in the amplifier and then ran the cable into a splitter to distribute the signal to 2 tvs.…

I'm impressed! Great performance for the price.

Works great! Easy to setup and install

Middle of the road

…Will probably switch to a permanent attic antenna.

Crisp Sharp Pictures.

…I have it mounted in my attic with a splitter and the output going to 2 TVs.

Great in the attic

Great in the attic, I attached it to the inside rafters and reception is great!…

Awesome attic antenna

Fairly easy to install. An amplifier is needed ( I use RCA amplifier that came with the antenna I bought previously). It will not work without an amplifier. Great reception from about 30 miles from TV stations.

attic

I think it'd work there. I have mine on the outside of my house near my attic.

will it work in an attic

Mine is in the attic. Roof is concrete tile. It works as well in the attic as it did when I tried it outside 20-feet off the ground: crystal clear HD digital picture.

Good picture.

can antenna work installed in attic ?

Yes this antenna will work installed in an attic. It workered better that the terk did in my attic. Located in Marietta outside of Atlanta.

Can you add an rotor to this antenna in the attic

Yes, a rotor will work with this antenna in an attic as long as the antenna has clearance to spin freely.

Works great!

Installed in attic works great

Four Stars

Works well in the attic

Five Stars

Installed in attic and works perfectly.

has anyone installed this in the attic? Also, do i have to buy any cable (or it comes with it) if i am going to install it in the attic.

I have installed in my attic in a 2 story house. Very touchy as to positioning. I have to think that attic mount reduces signal by 30% but that is a guess. Generally you will not know until you try it.

How do you mount in an attic? Do you run the cable all the way through the house to the TV?

I didn't mount it in the attic. I was able to run the cable up through the wall and into the attic then out the gable so I could mount it outside. The shorter the cable the better the reception.

If you've decided to ditch cable or satellite service, you'll want to consider adding a reliable HDTV antenna to your cord-cutting arsenal. A quality HD antenna can pick up over-the-air programming from popular networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, the CW, and a host of others for free, without the hassles of cable. These new antennas are more advanced than the bunny ears of old -- though those will technically still pick up the same signal if you've got one laying around -- and will even be ready for 4K broadcasts when they finally arrive.
